TUF-FLEX DL
Superior performance 6-strand rope
Increased service life

Rotary drilling line applications require a rope that is abrasion resistant, crush resistant and fatigue resistant.
The process used during the manufacturing of TUF-FLEX DL compacted drill lines provides a smooth wire rope with greater surface area and more steel per given diameter, which increases strength, fatigue resistance and wear resistance.
Union's TUF-FLEX DL compacted drilling lines have a plastic impregnated core which minimizes internal nicking and prolongs service life of the rope.
Compacting process increases surface area
The increased surface area of compacted rope can be seen in the comparison of the contact points of a standard 6 x 26 WS (left) and the compacted rope (right)
